Video Marketing’s The S***

Pardon my subject entry but that’s how i felt this morning when i checked my stats.

I have this new product that i’m promoting and i just had the hardest time looking for JV partners. Most products sold in my niche are physical products and i have an ebook…. I never did a JV and well i looked in google to find possible partners and well let’s just say my search was not successful.

I was brainstorming on how to improve my product when i decided you know i’ve got to start bringing in traffic and watch and learn as things progress. I wrote an article and submitted to about  5 article directories and then did some more research to see high traffic sites in my niche. i would normally start a ppc campaign but i have put that on hold because of financial reasons (college is too expensive). Now i wanted quick traffic and thought of creating a squidoo lens when something told me the fastest way to get traffic would be video.

I quickly created a powerpoint presentation of my article.
Made a screen capture video and submitteg it to google and youtube.I then proceded to social bookmarking the youtube video site.That was last night. This morning i wake up to see my self on the first page of google for my broadmatch keyword. I’m in the 5th position out of 563,000 searches.

I think i may be on to something here i will continue with more efforts.
