What was zoul doing today
Celebrated new years with family. I seem to have forgotten to state my new years resolution. Quick update… Zoul’s new year’s resoltion –> my goal for the year 2008 is to cover the expenses for my future car with nothing but IM cash.
I read DJK (Day Job Killer ) once again and decided to tryout the direct linking x method. By the way i need to write a review for DJK). I jumped over to clickbank to find a product to promote. DJK suggests getting products that have between a 30 to 150 gravity. I since i’m good at following instructions the product i chose has a gravity of over 300. So I lookd at the product site and tried to get some keywords from there. I used the google keyword tool to generate some targeted keywords from the site. I then used AffiliateElite to search for some profitable targeted keywords. I used those keywords on wordtracker to find even more targeted keywords. Went over to my google operating machine to start running some ads. I setup about an ad group for each main keyword about 10 in total. I then added a totally general keyword set on an other ad group. Each ad group had 2 ad variations. As of now i have 60 total impressions and zero clicks.
I didn’t try to look at my adsense arbitrage site today but i will soon. Hopefully tomorrow.
I completly changed the sales copy for my membership site. Before i was offering a newsletter for $10 a month but i was thinking that since the site is new and well i have no testimonials, no list that i should try everything to get started on list building before i try to monetize it. So i removed the paypal payment links and replaced them with an optin box. I believe i have about 3 in total on the site. Not only am i offering a free newsletter i’m also offering some added bonuses which of course will contain some affiliate links :-). I will eventually add a OTO script to further monetize my future list. After i was done i jumped over to google’s keyword tool to find site targeted keywords. Then i used them on wordtracker to find more related keywords. I currently have a total of 62 keywords and have 122 impressions. No clicks so far..
I worked with my buddy Max from (makegreenfromhome) he was a huge help. Helped me with some great seo tips and exchanged some great ideas with me. It’s about 5am nowand i have to get to work tomorrow. I will continue this later..
